    Sometimes it may be that after identification the smith appears to have come from abroad. These names are included too.

    Here you have a list of all place names where the identified smiths are or have been working. They are grouped by country.
    The place names are given in the language spoken in the region or country. For instance, look for ‘Namur’ instead of ‘Namen’. Brussels and its districts are given in French.
    If you are searching for a place name as it appears on the object, you will do better to search or its letters.
