From June 15, 2020 we would like to welcome you back in the MOT.

Your visit will look a little different than usual. On this page you will find a number of precautions that we take to make your visit as safe as possible and how you can best prepare for your visit.

Book your visit in 3 easy steps

  1. Book by phone

    Reservations can be made by telephone (02 270 81 11) on weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm or during the weekends between 10 am and 5 pm. Reservations can only be made for the combination Guldendal and Prinsenkasteel.

  2. Choose the date and the start time
    Every day (Monday-Sunday, incl. Public holidays) start visits between:
       10 am and 10.30 am
       11 am and 11.30 am
       12:00 and 12:30 pm
       1:00 pm and 1:30 pm
       2.00 pm and 2.30 pm
       3 pm and 3.30 pm
       4 pm and 4.30 pm

    Please note, the museum closes promptly at 5:00 PM.
  3. Pay the entrance fee at the counter

    You pay at the time of your visit. Preferably pay with bancontact. 
    Admission fees

Consider the following measures
  • A mouth mask is mandatory.

  • Disinfectant is available at the reception and at various places in the museum

  • Direction indications are provided

  • Always disinfect your hands before and after a green hand (assignments for children) and during the quests of Molly the moth and Vlieg
  • Respect the instructions of the museum staff
  • The exhibitions in the Liermolen and the Tommenmolen remain closed. Here you can attend our free demonstrations
  • Group visits are possible with a reservation and up to 20 participants

General measures

  • Do not you feel well? Then stay home.
  • Always keep 1.5 meters safe distance.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Use disposable tissue paper.
  • No handkerchief? Cough / sneeze in the inside of your elbow.
