Photo contest "Wiki Loves Heritage"

Wiki Loves Heritage is a photo contest in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels taking place from 15 June until 15 November 2018 in the context of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. During the contest you are welcome to upload photos from heritage in Belgium. Heritage includes immovable heritage and movable heritage, as well as immaterial heritage as maritime heritage.

Participate by uploading photos of heritage from Belgium, enrich Wikipedia and make heritage more visible for the public!

Make this museum more visible!

In and around the MOT there is a lot of heritage to be seen. We would like to be even more present on Wikipedia and we can use your help! Take part of the photo contest and make Wikipedia more complete.

How?

  1. By visiting the Guldendal (Guldendal 20), Liermolen (Vorststraat 8) and/or Tommenmolen (Tommenmolenstraat 18) and making photo's of:

    The historic buildings
    The collection (during opening hours)
Events and activities (workshops, demonstrations...). Please mind the privacyrules!
Completing our inventories of bread ovens and water wells, here and abroad. Lots of adresses don't have pictures, send them in and we will post them online. Don't forget to upload them for the contest.

  2. Follow the steps on Wiki Loves Heritage.
In "category" you fill in “the MOT, Grimbergen”.
In "type of heritage" you fill in whatever you like or you leave this field empty.

Thumbs up for a winner with a MOT-picture!
