Bread making: an introduction

On the top floor of the Liermolen mill barn, you can learn all about bread, step by step: you become familiar with the different ingredients and the hard work out in the fields, and you discover what threshing and winnowing are, how to grind wheat, and finally, how the baker kneaded his dough and baked bread.

This concise exhibition serves as an introduction to the Bread making workshop, an activity for all grades of primary education. The pupils follow the process here from grain to bread, in and around the farm, mill and bakery. Individual visitors are of course also welcome!
