Wiki Loves Heritage
Photo contest "Wiki Loves Heritage" Wiki Loves Heritage is a photo contest in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels taking place from 15 June until 15 November 2018 in the context of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. During the contest you are welcome to upload photos from heritage in Belgium. Heritage includes immovable heritage and movable heritage, as well as immaterial heritage as maritime heritage. Participate by uploading photos of heritage from Belgium, enrich Wikipedia and make heritage more visible for the public! Make this museum more visible! In and around the MOT there is a lot of heritage to be seen. We would like to be even more present on Wikipedia and we can use your help! Take part of the photo contest and make Wikipedia more complete. How? By visiting the Guldendal (Guldendal 20), Liermolen (Vorststraat 8) and/or Tommenmolen (Tommenmolenstraat 18) and making photo's of: The historic buildings The collection (during opening hours) Events and activities (workshops, demonstrations...)....

Geocaching at the MOT Wind, water and muscle! All power tools are driven by a motor or engine. The most obvious examples are a petrol engine, an electric motor, or even a steam engine. But before the emergence of these motors and engines, we had to rely on natural forms of propulsion: wind, water and muscle power. In the MOT Wind, water and muscle! geocache quest, you roam our historic buildings in search of traces of this natural propulsion. Only when you have found all the points and solved the questions correctly can you find the MOT treasure. And there’s a real bonus, because our treasure is tucked away in a unique place! You will find the coordinates and the information you need to start here. What is geocaching? The days when treasure-hunters would set off with a compass and a mysterious, yellowing map from a dusty library are long past.
